Our popular Standard Belly Casting Kit contains just the essential materials for making the perfect pregnancy cast of your bump. And what to do with your belly cast afterwards? Decorate it with one of our decorating packs and hang it your baby's room with a soft light behind. We've made fruit bowls, lights and plant pots for customers in the past! Or take a look at our belly cast gallery for inspiration.
The kit includes easy-to-follow, full colour instructions, plaster bandage (enough for even twins!), Vaseline & medium gloves.
Optionally add a Belly Cast Decorating Pack to smooth, paint and hang your belly cast. Choose from Classic Smooth White, Silver, Rose Gold, Gold, Bronze or Pearl paint or Baby Footprints Clay where you add clay hand or foot impressions to your cast when the baby is born.
Watch our customer and her sister making a belly cast using our Standard Belly Casting Kit. They decorate it so easily with flowery wrapping paper and PVA glue. Love it!
Belly Casting is a safe, simple process which involves laying wet plaster bandage (widely used in hospitals) over the pregnant torso at around 37 weeks.
This quickly hardens to create a perfect replica of the pregnant form. With one willing helper, you can create your work of art with the minimum of mess or fuss. Our kits include detailed, easy-to-follow instructions with diagrams and photographs to guide you through each stage of the process - from preparation, to creating your masterpiece and clearing up afterwards.
Your Belly Cast can be left exactly as it is or strengthened, smoothed, painted or decorated - whatever takes your fancy. You can even have it made into a glass sculpture, fruit bowl or lamp. Take a look at our Belly Casting Gallery for inspiration. Whatever you decide, you'll be amazed at the results!
