Our Classic frames are one of our best sellers. They are made from a single piece of softwood moulding and come in 5 modern colours. Due to their slightly slimmer 4cm deep profile, they are perfectly suited to newborn casts (0-8m), flat hands of toddlers and older children, clay impressions and raised impressions. They come with a traditional front mount and can be hung or placed landscape or portrait. The frames come ready-assembled so you do not have to deal with fiddly screws or loose panes of glass and it is easy to take the back off to mount your casts or impressions.
The frame is best-suited to 4 hand and foot casts of a baby 0-6m or 2-4 slim casts of a toddler or older child. It is also a great option for clay impressions or raised impressions.
It can be bought on its own or you can use the drop down to add materials to convert it into a casting kit.
We do not currently do under mounts for the 16x10 double size.
Optionally add an Engraved Name-plate to your order to stick to the frame edge or to the back mount with your casts. They come in three different sizes with many colours and fonts to choose from. You just peel the strip off the back and stick it to your frame.
If you need additional casting material please go to our Materials and Refills section.
The 'glass' in this larger frame is a high quality scratch-resistant acrylic that is much more expensive than real glass. It requires gentle handling, so please use a soft microfibre cloth to clean it. We prefer acrylic over glass in our larger frames for safety as many frames are hung in children's bedrooms. It also reduces the chance of breakages in transit.
